This year is passing very fast and I can’t believe that we are in September. We are already talking about Autumn-Winter 2020 trends.
This Spring many people were not willing to shopping. We were at home all spring long and how can anyone think about trends when a virus is spreading and people are being quarantined at home?
The virus is continuing to spreading and rules are changing everyday. We can’t see our future right now but I am an optimistic person and I really believe that everything will be all right.
I love to read and share new things with you. We are in beginning of fall and I would like to share Autumn – Winter 2020 trends with you.
I personally don’t follow every trend because not every trend suits everyone. My style is timeless, romantic. I love to add some trendy pieces into my wardrobe but I don’t follow strictly.
From street styles to fashion weeks, there are plenty of fresh looks to try. From bright colors to neutral color combinations, there is something for everyone. Here are Autumn- Winter 2020 trends.
As you know me I adore dress and skirt and I loved this trend aldready. The masculine pantsuits of last season replaced by ladylike skirt suit. Celine, Michael Kors and Victoria Beckham presented gray, black and beige skirt suits.
It is one of the longest lasting trends for the recent few seasons and it will continue to take over this winter. These neutral and monochromatic outfits look elegant and look great on everyone. Don’t afraid to try varying shades of the neutral tones.
Animal prints are timeless but recent years, they are more popular than before. They have become the new neutrals.
A puff sleeves and shoulder are popular for the recent few seasons. Last spring, shoulders were ladylike. Autumn 2020, focuses on a strong shoulder paired with a more straight sleeves. This style definitely makes a statement.
It is not a new trend to the fashion world but it was not popular after it’s early 2010s surge. 10 years later, it came back. While bright colors tend to show up on spring- summer time but this fall offers ranges of primary colors and a mix of other bright colors.
This trend is perfect way to keel the winter blues away.
I am very happy to see capes this year again. As you know me I adore capes. What better makes you feel ladylike on a cold day than adding on a cape to your outfit while also adding an layer of warmth in stylish way?
This year fashion shows embraced nostalgia with looks ranging from 18th century inspired ballgowns to puffed shoulders. Floor lenght skirts, long sleeved dresses with high necklines are amazing.
Black is Back
Let’s be honest, black dresses are timeless. This year black is elevated in more dramatic and stylish way.Ruffled color and tuşee bodice are amazing.
Lingerie Inspired Looks
This trend was very popular last summer and still very popular. It is all about mixing sheer-lingerie pieces.Dolce and Gabbana presented corset inspired mini dresses with oversized cardigans and Saint Laurent paired sheer bodysuits with latex pants.
This year plaids are rebellious than ever. Oversized checked outewear and plaid slip dresses are worth to buy.
Fringe was trendy in recent seasons and they will continue to be popular this year. From fringe trim coats to fringe dresses cascaded down, there are plenty of fringe outfit with fringe to pick from.
I am happy to see this trend again. I love sequin so much. Bottega Veneta presented sequins on full lenght maxi dresses while Celine presented sequin shift dresses.
