Who can resist to tiramisu? When you need of a little lift, eating tiramisu is a good idea.
The name comes from the Italian tiramisu ‘pick me up’. I love tiramisu so much. I can literally eat everyday. One of my favorite things to after gym is drinking coffee with something sweet to eat.
The traditional tiramisu contains ladyfingers (savoiardi), sugar, egg yolks, mascarpone coffee and cocoa powder. Today, many variation of tiramisu exists. The recipe has been adapten into may varieties of oatmeal, cakes and other desserts.
I have a gluten allergy so I do tiramisu mostly at home. Some restaurants, bakery shops have delicious, gluten free tiramisu and I love to eat them but I also love to try new healthy recipes.
