Hello Angels,

I always heard benefits of dry brushing but I haven’t tried until last February. It is one the best way to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin. I love the result so much because It makes the skin very smooth and look healthy.

While dry brushing is popular today, it is actually  a common Ayuverdic medicine in many cultures including Japanese and ancient Greeks. They used for cleanse and beutify the skin.

To get the benefits of dry brushing, you should use a natural bristled brush. These are made from natural plant fibers such as sisal bristles.

Don’t buy a brush with hard bristles and super stiff. Firmer bristles don’t make your skin better just the opposite it can make your skin bad such as leave red marks.

Dry brushing should be part of your beauty routine. It is very simple treatment you can indulge yourself. You only need a high quality of body brush and a few minutes. I can assure that you will see the results in one week.

You should dry brush two times a day, morning and evening. It is also good to do just before the shower because you can wash off flaky skin.

Start to brush from your ankles on circular motions and move up your body. The whole process should take maximum five minutes, so don’t feel you have to do it longer.

Some of the benefits are;

  • Reduce cellulite

  • Increasing circulation

  • Help the body release toxins

  • It is energizing and invigorating

  • Exfoliation

  • Softer, radiant and smoother skin.

Some people prefer to apply a body oil/lotion to the brush before but using body oil/lotion is better after brush for the healthy skin.
