Hello Angels,

Black tea is one of the most consumed beverages in Turkey. It is produced on Black Sea coast, which  has a mild climate and fertile soil.

Turkish black tea is prepared using two stacked teapots called ‘çaydanlık’. Water is brought in the larger lower teapot and some of the water is used to fill the smaller teapot (on the top) and add tea (loose tea or tea bag). When served, the remaining water is used to dilute the tea. Tea is usually drunk from small, slim waisted glasses.

I am a coffee person but if I prepare myself a classic Turkish breakfast, I also prepare myself a Turkish tea. I have a two stacked teapot, Turkish tea glasses and Turkish tea. When my family visits me, they always bring me big box of Turkish black tea.

Black tea has variety of health benefits. It is low in calories (if you don’t add a sugar). You can flavor in healthy ways such as;
