Especially last two years, the second subject I am interested in after fashion is healthy lifestyle. I quited to eat sugar two years ago. Sometimes I eat only an ice cream. If you are living in Rome, It is impossible to give up on ice cream 🙂

I never loved junk food or soda drinks but I was drinking my coffee with dessert or chocolate. Also I wasn’t drinking my tea and coffee without sugar. The most interesting part is I was drinking at least two cup of coffee and one cup of tea everyday. Now I am very glad to quit sugar.

I am a very active person. I go to gym 4 days a week and I walk a lot. Especially after gym I feel very hungry. I prepare myself a nice cup of coffee and healthy snack. I love to try new recipes and there are millions of recipes to try. I would like to share my favorite healthy snacks at the moment.


I love every type of nuts and love to mixed them. They prevent illness and depression. According to studies, eating nuts help you lose weight.

Nuts provide healthy fat, fiber and protein. They are an amazing snack after workout.

Apple Slices With Peanut Butter

Apples and peanut butter taste delicious together. Especially if you are dessert lover, this two combination will make you feel full.

Greek Yogurt and Fruits

Plain Greek yogurt and fruits make a delious snack. Greek yogurt is high in protein and a great source of potassium and calcium. If you want to gain muscle, protein and potassium is very important.

You can pick berries as a fruit. They are great source of antioxidants.

Cottage Cheese with Cinnamon and Flax Seeds

Cottage cheese, cinnamon and flax seeds are perfect combination. Cottage cheese is high in protein so it is a prefect food for muscle gain.

Flax seeds are perfect source for weight loss and cinnamon hels lower blood sugar and weight loss.

Kale Chips

You can replace potato chips with kale chips. It is very healthy and delicious. 1 cup of kale contains Vitamins A, and K. You can prepare kale chips at home.


  • 1 cup of bite sized kale leaves

  • Olive oil

  • Salt

  • You can add some spice like garlic powder or pepper

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Place kale pices on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes.

Tomatoes With Mozzarella

Tomatoes and mozzarella are very healthy and delicious. Mozzarella contains high protein, vitamin B12 and calcium. Tomatoes are high in vitamin C, lycopene, antioxidant and potassium.

Roasted Chickpeas

It is very easy to make your own. Chickpea snacks can be filled with healthy oils and sodium. The body needs also sodium for muscle gain. You cann add cumin, turmeric or cinnamon.

Roasted chickpeas are crunchy and tasty and you can eat instead of a potato chips.

Pumpkin Chickpea Fritters

You can try this recipe in autumn/winter. I love to pumpkin so much and I love to try new recipes with it.

This snack is very delicious and super easy to make it


  • 1 cup of chickpea flour

  • Spices according to your preference ( can be onion and garlic powder, cumin, black pepper and etc.)

  • 1 Stalk of Celery

  • 1 Kale Leaf (with stem)

  • 2 Tablespoons of pumpkin puree

  • 2 Tablespoons of apple cider vigenar

  • Olive oil

  • 2 or 3 Tablespoons of chopped cilantro

  • Hummus to serve

In a bowl, mix together the chickpea flour and spices.

Add celery and kale in a food processor and chopped until finely.

Add the kale mixture along with the remaining ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredints and mix them.

In a pan, add in a splash of olive oil and cook on each side until golden brown.

Garnish with cilantro and you can serrve with hummus.

Pear Slices with Ricotta Cheese

Pear slives and ricotta chese are perfect snack.

Pears contain polyphenol antioxidants with have strong anti inflammatory properties.

Ricotta cheese is high in calcium and protein. According to 12 week studiy, adults who consumed 210 gram of ricotta cheese daily experienced strenght and muscle gain.

Ricotta Cheese with Cocoa Powder

If you prefer something with cocoa, you can try this delicious recipe.

It is super delicious and easy to prepare


  • 125 gram ricotta cheese

  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder (unsweetened)

  • A pinch of sugar or date puree, if desired

Place ricotta cheese in a bown and sprinkle with date puree and cocoa powder.
