This week I am reading Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff…and it’s all Small stuff book which was USA Today’s bestselling book for two years and spent over more than 100 weeks on the New York Times Best Seller List.
In chapter 11’s title is Imagine that Everyone is Enlightened Except You. The chapter is about looking every person in our lives (even to aggressive taxi driver) as a wise person. Every type of people may teach us lesson, if we don’t focus on only negative side. If we figure out, what they try to teach us, we will become more calm and reasonable.
For example, waiting at the crowded post office may teach you patience. Before you become angry, you can think what does this person try to teach me?
Our mindset can change from negative to positive with an awareness. People who doesn’t empower themself feel uncofident and unmotivated to success goals. Everybody have goals, dreams but sometimes people can feel unhappy and tired. There are many ways to empower yourself. I would like to share with you my favorite tips.

Don’t give up
Never give up on your dreams and yourself. Maybe your dreams seems unreachable or difficult. You will not reach in one day but If you insist, one day you will reach it.
Maybe some people try to discourage you or conditions seems different. I can’t talk about conditions because It depends on the wish and circumstances but I can say one thing about people. You never let people discouraged you because It is your life and your dream. They will not live your life. There are not you and you are not them. Your life your responsabilites belong to you. You don’t live for someone else.
One movie inspired me to never give up. The movie’s name is ‘The Adjustment Bureau’ . Starring Matt Damon and Emily Blunt. If you watched it or in future If you watch it, will understand me better.

Exercise
Daily exercise is one of the theraphy for people. You don’t have to go to gym or yoga class but can go out for walk. Daily light and seeing people, children and animals give you energy.
Especially babies and children are the best positive energy source. They don’t judge and they love every thing. They only live in the moment. They are the best example for being in present.

Gratitude
Gratitude is the most important thing. If you have a family, living in safe place and fulfilling your basis including clean water, food. You are the most luckiest person in the world.
Everybody have dreams, desires and needs. Conditions can be very difficult but If you focus on negativity and complain all day long, you will be in wrong places and meet negative people.
For example, when I go out in a negative mood, I see strange and aggressive people. After I realized it, I started to empower myself before leaving home. It helped me a lot.
For feeling the power of gratitude, every morning and night find 5 things to thankful for. At least try it for one week. You don’t have to keep gratitude journal or write. Just find five things and say thank you. You will feel more happy and powerful.

Sleep at least 8 hours
Well rested is the most important thing for human body. When you sleep less, you will be nervous, unhappy and unmotivated.
You should sleep at least 8 hours. That’s why revise your programma.

Be In Present
It may be most difficult think. We think our past or future almost all the time but the reality is past is past and future is unknown. Accepting the life with changes and mistakes can empower us more.
Past was lesson. Without negative people and events, we couldn’t learn our lesson and purpose of lives. Events and people just help us to reach our dreams and best in ourselves.
Everyday is a present and full of lesson, realize it and try to enjoy in every moment.

Dream and Make a Goal
If you don’t dream and make a goal, what’s the point of living? I am not talking about goals like become a famous singer or actress (If you have this dream, of course fullfill your wish)
If you are not sure, what do you want in future then create daily goals like cooking new recipe or learning new dance. You can find your life purpose with hobbies. For example I started yoga class with big enthusiasm but later I realized that It is not my favorite hobby. In future, I want to improve my yoga skills but I figure out that I can’t be yoga instructure.

Find a Mantra and Repeat it
Find your mantra and repeat it until It sticks Create your own mantra and never give up from repeating it. First days, It may not affect you but next days you will start to see results.
Even you don’t believe it that kind of things, at least try. Everyday you never give up from negativity tiredless but for this time you forget about negative words, affirmations and try positive mantras.

Respect Yourself
If you don’t respect yourself, no one will respect you.
Sometimes you have to say no and tell your real feelings for your happiness. From time to time people can hesitate to say no because they hesitate. When you find yourself in that kind of situation remember that the other person is not superior and more clever than you. Everybody is equal and you don’t have to to do something you don’t want. If you do it, it means that you don’t respect yourself and this the worst insult.

Let Go Of Negative People
Maybe you hear this sentence a lot but this is best thing to do for happiness.
Negative people never give you positivity or support. They will talk about all negative events all day long and If you are a positive person, they will steal your energy. I know this feeling very well because It happened to me a lot of times. You are not an enery supplier for negative people.
If you want to feel happy and reach your goals, you have to be careful people you surrend.
Negative people will pull you down. Claim your energy.
