Ballet shoes are an wardrobe essentials. Adding perfect pair not only keep us comfy but add sophistication to any outfit. They are also versatile.
Ballet shoes are designed to make the legs look longer which also creates an elegant silhouette. They can be worn to dinner with friends, to the office or date night.
Personally, I adore them and they are my must have shoes. Even in winter time, I can’t give up on them. If the weather is not rainy, I mostly wear ballet shoes.
If you are wondering how to wear flats in winter without freezing your toes off, here are the tips.
Wear them with socks
You can buy some chic socks for a stylish look but if you love colors, you can buy some colorful socks.
When I wear with jeans, personally prefer black or nude thin socks.
Wearing with tights
In winter time, wearing dress, short or skirt without tight is unthinkeable for me. You can opt chic tight or thin and nude colored tight.
If you pair your ballerina flats with the same color tight (such as black ballet flats and black tights), your legs will appear leaner and taller.
Wearing with a skirt
Wearing ballerina flats with skirt is feminine and chic. You can wear with any type of skirt you want. If you prefer something adventorous you can opt neutral color skirt and printed or colored shoes.
Wearing with jeans
When you wear with jeans, be sure that your jeans should not touch the shoe. You should leave a bit of ankle showing because your legs look leaner and taller.
Leather ballet flats
Suede ballerinas are stylish but they become dirty and wet fast. You can opt leather because it can be wiped clean and won’t be wet.
