Appreciate the food
Some people pray before the eat. Pause for a minute you begin eating and silently express your gratitude for the food you have. Eat slowly and without any distractions such as tv or phone.
Watching tv or checking social media on the ohone while you eat can cause problem.When you eat without paying attention – or how much – you are eating, you will end up eating more food. Avoid distraction and focus on the plate.
When you eat slowly, you will be able to pay attention to the food you are eating. The texture, the sound, the flavors will satify you.

While you are shopping, cooking and eating, employ all your senses. Be attentive to texture, aroma and the color. As you chew your food, try to identify all the ingredients.
