Hello Angels,

I personally believe that when we see or hear anything about Italy, love is the first thing that comes to our mind (Especially if you are single 🙂 )

The country’s delicious food culture and architecture attracts a lot of tourists from around the world every year. Every person should visit Italy at least once in their life. Every Italian city is magical, each region is full of surprises. Milan is the city of fashion, Verona is city of Romeo and Juliet, Rome is the capital of Italy and with the ancient history.

If you are thinking about the visit Rome, I would like to recommend you some of my favorite movies that featured Rome. Some movies can change our life , they can inspire you to take action.

Take the opportunity and visit Rome. Maybe your life will change in a good way. Never give up on miracles.

1)Roman Holiday

Everybody should watch Roman holiday movie once in life. It is an American romantic comedy movie. It stars Audrey Hepburn as a princess and Gregory Peck as a reporter.

Princess Ann (Audrey Hepburn) becomes tired because of tightly scheduled life. For this reason, she escapes from her accommodation during a trip in Rome and ends up in the care of American reporter, Joe Bradley. Next day she spends her day doing whatever she wants includes buying gelato and getting haircut.

If you are fashion lover, you can watch the movie also for costumes because it won Academy Awards for Best Costume Design (Edith Head)

2) Angel and Demons

Angel and Demons is an American movie which is based on Dan Brown’s novel of the same title.

You are probably familiar with Dan Brown books ( Da Vinci Code, Inferno) This is the second installment in the Robert Langdon movie series.

The movie took place in Rome and in the Vatican including Vatican archives and St. Peter’s Basilica. It is different than the other movies because this movie is about art, history and symbols of Rome.

3) Spectre

Spectre is the twenty- fourth in the James Bond series. James Bond (Daniel Craig) travels to Rome to attend Sciarra’s funeral. Especially car chase scene is one of the best scene in the movie.

After escaping from the Spectre meeting at the Palazzo Cadenza, Bond drives off his Ashton Martin through the streets of Rome.

It is a good opportunity to see Roman streets through James Bond’s eyes.

4) To Rome with Love

It is a romantic comedy movie, directed and staring by Woody Allen. The movie is set in Rome. It tells four unrelated stories

5) When in Rome

When in Rome is a American romantic comedy movie. It stars Josh Duhamel and Kristen Bell.

Beth (Kristen Bell) flies to Rome for her sister’s wedding. She meets Nicholas (Josh Duhamel). She likes Nicholas and believes in love again until she sees Nick kissing another woman. She jealous at seeing him with another woman and picks up coin from the fountain of love ( fountain is fictional but probably inspired by Trevi Fountain).

According to legend if you take coins from the fountain, owner of the coin will fall in love with you.

I watched this movie before I moved to Italy and still one of my favorite film.
