The most difficult thing about living in Italy is resisting to food. Every part of the Rome, there are  tons of restaurants  and bakeries and all foods are amazing. There seem to be an many dishes that ‘absolutely need to try’. Desserts, pizzas, pastas are just amazing and sometimes it is difficult to resist.

The best part about Italian cuisine is they use fresh ingredients and use a lot of olive oil. That’s why their food doesn’t make you fat.

Eating at outside shouldn’t be your excuse to eat unhealty foods.  Restaurant food good look, smell and taste great  so managing yor portions can be challeing. Follow these tips and you will enjoy your meal more and feel happy.

This is one of the most important tip and my favorite tip that you can apply to eat healthy while eating out. If you know which restaurant you will go then check out their menu online.

You can read ingredients and come with the plan to a stick to which makes your healthy eating routine easier to stick.

Don’t go to restaurant when you are very hungry

I know this sounds a little bit funny. If you are not hungry then why you will go to resturant. Of course, I don’t to mean like this.

You know there is a popular saying don’t go grocery shopping while you are hungry. Well, the same applies to when you eat at outside.

Before you go out, be sure to have a healthy dnack that’s rich in protein or healthy fats such as almond and cashew.

Drink a lot of water

Sometimes we think is hunger, is actually just thirst. Feeling hungry and feeling thirsty have a very similar feeling. The next time before you order a food, drink a glass of water and wait for 12 minutes to check yourself about your hunger.

Keep it small

Some restaurants have larger portion sizes than  what you would normally eat at home. Share a large meal with your friend. You don’t have to eat everything on your plate. Eat only half of the plate, eat slowly and keep the conversation going.

Fill your plate with vegetables and fruits

Vegetables and fruits are the great sources of fiber and that keep you full and maintain a blood sugar balance to prevent you from overating.

When you are eating out, ask for a side of vegetables.

Divide up dessert

Desserts are very challenging and I love it so much. I don’t deprieve myself and divide up my dessert.

Do you at outside? Do you have any tips you would add to this list?
